Who are you and what do you do?

I am the founder of Little Lightbulb, my job is to target your audience effectively through market research and creative advertising.

How have you found your start-up journey so far?

Absolute rollercoaster, no two days are the same, major highs [and lows] but overall built a team that I can happily spend 50 hours a week with.

What do you listen to whilst you work?

Hans Zimmer for the focus time- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5IailIzqdc

Alternatively if we’ve had too many coffees before 11:00… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=my6bfA14vMQ

What drives you to get up in the morning?

CASH-MONEY. No, in all seriousness I couldn’t work in any other field and the ability to have fresh projects across a variety of industries keeps every day interesting and challenging in an environment that forces you to question the norm.

What three things can’t you live without?

*pauses for original “food”, “water” answers* I’d say curiosity, excitement and humour.

What’s your best time-saving trick?

Lists. I would say having a priority list of quick wins with more taxing work for later in the morning is one of the best ways to be productive.

What have you learnt that you’d like others to know?

It’s just a business. Do not let it affect your personal life to the extent that it damages others around you. Put it in perspective and accept that you can’t operate at 110% [insert rage cliché] all the time.

Where do you see yourself and your business in 12 months?

I see myself living in Bath, growing the agency to four and continuing to be a leading digital studio.

The best advice you’ve ever received?

“Get a grip on the finances” – Matt Connolly.

Fill in the blank. I’d like to see __ answer these same questions!

Matt Connolly!

Anything else you’d like to add?

Looking forward to seeing everyone at YENA Bath!
